An alternative secluded spot in Hakone

In the event that Hakone’s main photography spots are too busy for you, or looking for a different location for a couples shoot, look no further than Chisuji Falls. A good spot to stand is on the bridge, taken with a long exposure (must be very still), to get the silky water below.

  • Located in Hakone, finding the path to get here is a little hard and hidden. 
  • The path is a little submerged by water so we do not recommend wearing sneakers at this spot (unless they’re waterproof). There isn’t many people at this spot. Go during the day, this spot is not lit at night so don’t get stuck out here in the dark.
