My love for photography

Born into a family where photography paid the bills and our living room doubled as a studio, I grew up with a camera practically glued to my hands. It wasn’t just a hobby; it was our family’s bread and butter. I cut my teeth on everything from lighting to shooting, picking up skills in the family business. Fast forward a bit, and I’ve been behind the lens for all sorts of gigs – from high-energy commercials to TikToks that make you chuckle, corporate stuff, and even ran a TikTok account with a cool million followers. I’ve dabbled in content creation across various fields like aerospace, the bustling restaurant scene, sports, and even the intense world of factories and refineries.

But then, something new caught my eye when I landed in Japan – engagement photography. It was a whole new ball game. A friend hit me up about coming to Japan to propose to his girlfriend at Mount-Fuji and asked if I could capture the moment. Excited? Absolutely! I mean, who wouldn’t be jazzed about such a gig?

The day was something out of a dream. There they were, standing by the water with the majestic Mount Fuji in the background. Talk about a picture-perfect setting! I tiptoed around like a ninja, blending in with tourists while sneakily adjusting my camera settings. Then came the signal, and it was showtime. I slipped into my spot, camera ready, just as the question popped. Click, click, click – I was capturing their life-changing moment, one frame at a time.

Let me tell you, I was so moved by the whole scene. There I was, trying to keep my cool and focus on getting those perfect shots, but man, the emotions were real. It was a rush like no other I’d experienced in photography.

Once everything wrapped up, I took a moment to just sit there, staring out at Mount Fuji, soaking it all in. And it hit me – this is it. This is what I want to do. Capturing love, in all its forms, in the most stunning places. That’s the dream.
